  • For preparing chilly fish masala, first grind together tomato and green chillies to a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and saute crushed garlic, coriander powder and turmeric powder in low flame.
  • When a frying smell comes, add the ground tomato mixture and fry well.
  • Add the fish pieces and required salt. Cook in very low flame without crushing the fish pieces. Add little hot water if water has dried up.
  • When the gravy has acquired a thick consistency and the fish pieces are done, remove the vessel from fire.
  • Chilly fish masala, a yummy nutritious dish, is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
