  • For preparing chilly onion fry, first heat little oil in kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds. Add onion and fry for 5 minutes.
  • When the color starts to change, add the chilly powder, salt and sugar.
  • Simmer the flame and fry it till it becomes crispy.
  • This can be used as a stuffing inside dosa(like masala dosa) or a side dish for idly.
