Cookies With Jam Topping
Cookies baked with a jam filling on top
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour Maida
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 4 dsp Butter
- 2 nos Egg beaten
- 4 dsp Sugar powdered
- 5 dsp Any colored jam
Instructions
- For preparing cookies with jam topping, first sift together flour and baking powder.
- Rub butter into the flour and add eggs and sugar. Knead to a smooth dough.
- Make lime sized balls with the entire dough.
- Punch a hole in the top of each ball and fill it with jam.
- Arrange these balls in a greased tin and bake at 375 degrees till the outside becomes golden brown in color.
- Yummy cookies with jam topping is ready. Enjoy.
