Cucumber Milkshake


Cucumber Milkshake was totally a new and very rare drink to me. I had the first encounter with this drink in a restaurant. They had added a scoop of vanilla ice cream too and that dazzled me. I loved the drink from my first sip itself. When I noted the word Cucumber Milkshake in the newly created menu card, I had a little apprehension. I couldn’t picture the drink and was double minded. I clarified with the waiter and he happened to convince me. Finally I thought of giving a try. The lightly colored greenish tint captured my heart at first glimpse itself. When I tasted it, it was simply superb. That is how I made up my mind to re-create the dish in my kitchen. I didn’t add ice cream and it was natural, fresh and very tasty too. A total change from the usual milkshakes. I consider this as a energy booster, not much scientifically but to me personally. After a heavy workout I prefer Cucumber Milkshake. Now my family too closely follows me in this drink.

Cucumber Milkshake has become our family drink. But my kids prefer it with one or two scoops of their favorite ice cream. And I am convinced at least my precious family is savoring something true and wholesome that is good for their health. You can term this drink ‘cool’ as it combines raw veggies blended in the most delicious way. With all those vitamins and nutrients, it leaves you feeling fantastic. You can have it with your breakfast and that’s enough to carry you throughout the day. This three ingredient milkshake is perhaps one of the easiest ones you can prepare.   • 500 ml Milk chilled or frozen
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 no. Cucumber medium


  • In a blender add in the chopped cucumber, Also add in the sugar, milk and water.
  • Blend everything together. Strain and serve immediately.
