Ingredients
- Dal - 1 cup
- Water(As reqd) -
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Onion - 1 no
- Tomato - 1 no
- Ginger(chopped) - 1/2 tsp
- garlic(chopped) - 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Wash dal well.
- Pour enough water and allow it to cook.
- When the gravy thickens, add the curry leaves.
- Splutter mustard seeds in a little oil and add it to the dal.
