A different way of making pickle using Dates

Ingredients
- Fresh dates(increase or decrease as per sweetness) - 10 to
- Green chilies - 3 nos
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Curry leaves - 1 bunch
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
- Fenugreek powder(Uluva) - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida powder(Kaayam) - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic pods - 4 nos
- Oil - 50 gm
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Add dates, curry leaves, red chilli powder, pepper powder, fenugreek powder, asafoetida powder and garlic cloves and cook for 5 mins.
- Remove from heat after it boils.
- Allow the above mixture to cool.
