Deep Fried Crispy Mandeli
Mandeli Fry In Kerala Style

Ingredients

Mandeli fish : 20
Turmeric powder
: 1 tsp
Red
chilli powder
: 1 tsp
Rice flour : 3 tsp
Salt
: to taste
Oil
: for frying
Instructions
Wash and clean the fish. Remove the head, the tail and the scales.
Marinate the fish with
turmeric powder
, red
chilli powder
and
salt
and keep aside for 30 - 40 minutes.
Enter Step
Add the rice flour to the marinated fish and coat well.
Enter Step
Heat
oil
in a pan till it is very hot - almost smoking.
Fry the mandeli in batches of 10 - 12 fish at a time.
Fry on both sides till golden brown and crispy.
