Chilli chicken is an Indo Chinese dish, goes very well with fried rice.This Chilli chicken is made using very little ingredients. This chilli chicken is a dry dish. The Capsicum gives this dish an unique taste.

  • 1 cup Boneless chicken medium size pieces
  • 1 no Capsicum medium
  • 1 no Onion large
  • 1 no Garlic pod
  • 2 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Tomato sauce

    Marinate the chicken in a nonstick vessel. Cook (on a low flame) in the same vessel.
    Do not add water and no need to pressure cook.
    Once the chicken is 90% cooked, saute it along with the onion and capsicum.

    I usually use Maggi.. But Heinz too would taste good. Dont know whether it would matter.
    But adding too much ketchup makes the dish tangy.

    it was wonderful. so easy, n tasting similar to nammude fastfood chilly chicken. rejanna, i dont think u need to use any specific soya sauce. thanks a lot.
