- Potato - 1 cup
- 0il - 2 tsp
- Saunf - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 tsp
- garlic - 8 pods
- Salt(to taste) -
- Curry leaf - 10
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Chili powder - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Heat oil in a kadayi add garlic pods,curry leaves,cumin seeds and saunf saute for a minute.
- Add chopped and cleaned potatoes to this and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste to this and saute for a minute.
- Close kadai with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- When water completely dries up, switch off stove.
- Easy urulakizhangu poriyal is ready to serve
