6 Tortillas/Wraps500 gm *Skinless chicken thighs/breast (cut into strips)2 nos Capsicum2 nos Onion (cut into thin slices)100 gm Taco Mix1 small Salsa sauce1 pk Shredded cheese/mozarella3 tsp Maida1 tsp Chilli powderTurmeric powder (A pinch)½ tsp Garlic (crushed)½ cup Yogurt/sour creme½ tsp Soya sauceVinegar (A few drops)A few hot Jalapeno Peppers, if you haveSalt (As reqd)*Minced beef can also be used Mix the Taco Mix, vinegar, soya sauce, chili powder, garlic and salt(as req.). Marinate for 30 mins, or refrigerate for several hours. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan over high heat. Add chicken strips to the pan and saute for 5 mins.Add the onion and capsicums, jalapeno pepper and saute another 5 mins.Add the maida (diluted in little water), the sour creme and salt as required. Add little taco mix to the gravy.Boil it until you get a thick gravy consistency. Remove from fire.Take a grilling tray and place one tortilla in it.Take some from the above mix, (also some shredded cheese) and place in it.Roll it covering both sides. Repeat the same with all the other tortillas.Sprinkle some shredded cheese and salsa sauce above all the rolled tortillas.Pour the remaining gravy on it.Heat in the oven/grill for 30 mins at 180 degrees.:- Serve hot with salads (cherry tomatoes, fresh leaves, baby carrots):- You can also serve avocado chutney on the side.Pls refer other recipes.
