  • 1/2 cup Figs soaked in water, Athi pazham
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Parsley leaves finely chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • Pepper A pinch
  • 2 nos Cinnamon sticks


  • For preparing fig vincotto with cream cheese canal, heat a pan and cook red wine for a few seconds in it.
  • Add figs and cinnamon along with the fig water to the cooking red wine.
  • Cover and cook it on a low flame till the figs become soft.
  • Fry the raisins with butter in another pan.
  • Mix this raisin with cream cheese, pepper and parsley leaves. Make canals out of this cream.
  • Put the cooked figs on a plate and place the cream canals over each of the figs.
  • Fig vincotto with cream cheese canal is ready. Garnish it with sprigs of parsley.
