Fish Roll is a delicious crunchy snack very soft in the inside that goes well with sauce. Fish Roll is a nutritious complete snack with mouthwatering taste and flavor. Fish Roll is unique in preparation and these rolls are deep fried to a golden brown color. Cooked fish pieces are mixed with mashed potatoes and necessary spicy ingredients, rolled out into oval rolls and deep fried.   • 1/2 kg Any Fleshy fish
  • 3 nos Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 no Sour lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Fish stock
  • 1 no Egg well beaten
  • Fine breadcrumbs As reqd
  • Oil For frying


  • For preparing Fish Roll, first clean, wash and boil the fish pieces in a little water adding salt and turmeric. Save the water. Remove bones if any.
  • Mash the fish pieces and add mashed potatoes, red chilly and pepper powders.
  • Stir in lime juice and fish stock. Mix the mixture well and salt may be added if necessary.
  • Form little oval rolls, dip into beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs. Deep fry Fish Roll in hot oil to a golden brown color.
  • :- Serve hot.
