Ingredients
- FOR RICE. -
- Basmati rice - 1 cup
- Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon - 3 each
- For marination: -
- Chicken(I used medium sized pieces ) - 500 gm
- Onion( finely chopped ) - 1
- Tomato(finely chopped ) - 1 no
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Green chilly - 6-8 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1 /
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- whole black pepper corns - 10-15
- Lime juice - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves -
- Salt to taste -

Instructions
- Marinate the cleaned chicken with all the ingredients along with salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Place the cooked rice in a steamer and the chicken on the top of the rice .Cook it for 25 minutes.
- Enjoy this Mandi chicken in its authentic way.
Recipe Notes
This is a very mild dish, not spicy at all.
