Here is an innovative twist to normal spicy steam cooked adas into Idli shaped ada. Here I use idli moulds to make mussels ada. This mussels ada in idli maker requires little bit of time and little work but of course it taste different and better.
In a pan heat oil put the chopped onion and saute well.add the gingergarlic paste, green chillies and saute well for 5 more minutes.add chopped corinder leaves, curry leaves and remove from the flme.
Mix rice flour with salt and water as required, knead the dough well.Take small balls out of this dough.Make small discs and keep a small amount of filling in this and close it and roll it well.
Take an idli maker, rub oil on idli plates and place the masala filled balls into the idli mould and press it to get the correct idli shape.switch on the flame and steam with lid covered for 20-25 minutes.
Remove the cooked adas from the idli makers and serve hot.
