Kadala Masala A spicy kadala curry 1 1/2 cups Kadala (Channa)1 - Onion2 nos Green chillies1/2" piece Ginger1 no Tomato (small)1/2 tsp Garam masala powder1 tsp Chilly powder1 tsp Coriander powderOil to sauteCoriander leaves1/4 tsp Turmeric powderSalt (As reqd) Soak the channa(kadala) overnight.Add required water and salt and boil it in a pressure cooker.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Saute all the ingredients other than tomato, coriander leaves and channa.Add tomatoes and saute it for a while.When done, add the boiled channa and bring it to boil for a minute.When its done too, add the finely chopped coriander leaves.:- Serve hot.
