This mithai gives you the wondrous feeling of biting into a gulab jamun but in a more handy form! Kala Jamun is made with a perfect mix of hariyali khoya and maida to get super soft jamuns, which are deep-fried and dipped in warm sugar syrup to make a lovely semi-dry sweet. But i use ready mix jamun powder to show how quick kala jaum can prepare in home.
Instructions
- In bowl add readymix jamun powder
- Now add water for making dough and knead soft dough
- Now divide equal portion and add food colour
- Now from each make small size ball
- Now stuff colour ball inside of plain ball
- Now roll and make shape which you like, i made oval and keep aside and do rest of others
- Now deep fry the jamun and drain out
- Now again deep fry till dark colour comes don't burn and keep aside
- Now its ready to Kala Jamun
