Add the soaked and drained rice and fry it on low flame for3 -4 minutes.
Add hot water and salt. Cover and cook it .Check occasionally. If it is three- fourth cooked add the saffron , Apple , cherries,cashews,pistachios and sugar.Mix well and cook it again for another 5 minutes.
Kashmiri Pulao is ready .Garnish with pomegranate and nuts. Serve hot with raitha or curries.
