- Toor dhal(Tuvara parippu) - 1/2 cup
- Onion(sliced, small) - 1/2 of
- Onion(chopped, small) - 1/2 of
- Coconut(grated) - 1/4 of
- Tomatoes(chopped into cubes) - 1 no
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- garlic - 5 flakes
- Aniseed(Saumph) - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves(Few) -
- Coriander leaves(Few, chopped) -
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add slit green chilly, chopped onion and curry leaves. Saute for sometime until the onion turns golden brown.
- Pour the cooked dhal mixture into the pan and stir well. Remove from fire. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Kerala dhal fry is ready and serve hot.

I cnt imagine that i cud make out such a delicious dhal fry..my hubbys favorite…it was yummy….easy for the beginners…thanks a lot
