Kerala Simple & Nice Tomato Chutney Yummy n spicy chutney with tomatoes and onions 1 no Tomato (cut into small pieces, big)2 nos Onions (cut into small pieces, medium)2 nos Red chillies (Kollamulaku)Garam masala powder (A pinch)2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)Oil for fryingSalt (As reqd) Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.Fry the red chillies, till they become dark in colour.Add onion and fry, till it becomes golden brown.Add tomato and saute.Add a little water, if necessary.Add salt.Add garam masala.;- You can substitute it with a spoon full of sambar powder if you don`t like the taste of garam masala.Add coriander leaves.Grind them together into a paste.Garnish with the rest of the coriander leaves.:- Serve with idlis and dosas. I tried this recipe with ginger garlic paste. It is super. This chutney is better than coconut chutney and goes very well with idlis and dosas. My mother in law loved it!!!!!! thanks for the yummy chutney.
