Cherupayar curry without garlic and garam masala

Ingredients
- Green gram(Cherupayar) - 1/2 cup
- Onion(finely chopped, large) - 1 no
- Tomato(finely chopped, large) - 1 no
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Sambar powder - 2 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil - 2 -

Instructions
- Soak daal overnight.
- Cook it in a pressure cooker.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Fry onion, until it becomes golden brown.
- Add green chillies and tomatoes and saute.
- Add the cooked daal and a little water, if necessary.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder and sambar powder.
- Stir well and allow it to boil.
- Turn off the flame.

tried it out…didnt taste good..the sambar powder killed the taste of the moong beans..
this is very bad recepie. This becomes good when u feel very hungry and mothing is there.. Better to have Curd and rice..
I read the previous comment. I used chicken masala instead of sambar powder and that tastes good.
