  • For preparing Kerala Style Chilly Chicken, wash the chicken well and drain out excess water.
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients for marination for about 2 hours.
  • Fry the marinated chicken pieces in oil.
  • Remove excess oil by placing them on a tissue.
  • Heat little oil in a pan.
  • Fry garlic, till it turns brown.
  • Add onions and fry, till they turn brown.
  • Add green chillies and saute for a while.
  • Add fried chicken pieces followed by the sauces and saute for sometime.
  • Add pepper powder, meat masala, a pinch of color mixed in 2 tbsp of water and salt, if required.
  • Stir for sometime on a low flame.
  • Remove from flame.
  • :- Serve Kerala Style Chilly Chicken hot with parathas.
