Kerala Style Rava Kesari A tasty snack - Kerala Style Rava Kesari 1 cup Semolina (Rava/Sooji)2 1/2 cups Sugar2 tbsp Butter2 drops Rose essence8 nos Cashewnuts (roasted)8 nos Raisins (roasted)4 nos Cardamom (Elakka)Kesar colour (A pinch)2 1/2 cups Water Pour butter in a kadai and roast the rava till the moisture is all gone. Keep this aside. Boil water and add the rava in it. Cook until rava is soft. Add the sugar and mix well. Add kesar colour, cardamom and rose essence. Garnish with cashewnuts and raisins. Kerala
