- Bengal gram(soaked, Kadala Parippu) - 1 cup
- garlic - 4-5 pods
- Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 1 cup

Instructions
- For praparing kothimbir chi wadi, grind bengal gram, garlic, cumin powder, green chillies and salt.
- Mix it with the chopped coriander.
- Make big cutlets out of the mixture.
- Steam the cutlets over half an inch of boiling water for 10 min.
- Let it cool and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
- Shallow fry in oil until crisp.
- Kothimbir chi wadi Serve hot.
