Before the mango season ends, I wanted to share another classic Indian dessert prepared with ripe mangoes. Mango Phirni a variation to the traditional Phirni recipe.Phirni is an Indian rice pudding like dessert.

  • peel the skin of the mango and make Puree

  • soak the basmati rice for 15 mins in water

  • grind the rice to smooth paste

  • boil the milk

  • once the milk get boiled add the rice paste and stir continuously

  • add cardamom powder and mix it

  • once the rice get boiled well add mango puree and stir it
