  • 3 cups Mango chopped
  • Chilly powder As reqd
  • Asafoetida A pinch
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing mango vattal, peel skin and cut mango in medium sized pieces.
  • Pat dry the mangoes.
  • Mix chilly powder, salt and asafoetida and keep under sun till dry.
  • Serve with curd rice. Mango vattal is ready.
