Mattar Paneer Curry

  • Cook the green peas in a cooker.
  • Fry the paneer cubes in a tawa.
  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadai., Splutter the whole garam masalas like cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
  • Add in the chopped onions and saute till it starts turning golden brown.
  • Add tomato and saute till it becomes soft.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garlic and ginger and saute for a few minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and let it cool. Grind into a smooth paste adding little water.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan.
  • Saute the above paste for 3 minutes.
  • Dry roast the cumin in a small pan and grind it to a powder.
  • Add boiled green peas, fried paneer cubes, cumin powder and garam masala powder (optional). Mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
