- Bottle gourd - 1 cup
- Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Red chilly - 1
- Tamarind water - 1/4/ cup
- Salt(As per taste) -
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- Cut bottle gourd and keep aside
- In a pan add water and bottle gourd cook well
- In a jar add coconut, jeera, pepper, red chilly and grind paste.
- Now add grind paste in bottle gourd mix well.
- Now temper with mustard, urad dal and pour in kootu.
- Now Milagu Kootu is ready.
