- Green gram( pachapayar) - 1 cup
- Shallots - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1 shopped

- Salt(as per taste) -
- Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions
- Boil Green gram and mash well with masher
- In pan add oil and temper mustard, jeera, fenugreek
- Now add shallots, tomato, curry leaves,red chili and saute well
- Now add salt and mashed dal, mix well
- Now add water 1/2 cup , add asafeotida, bring it to boil and turn off
- Now its ready to serve Pachapayar Kadasal
