1 piece Pumpkin (Mathanga)1/2 glass Vanpayar (Red cow peas)3/4 glass Coconut1 spoon Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)2 spoon Chilly powder1/4 spoon Turmeric powder1/4 spoon Mustard seedsCurry leaves (A few)Oil Soak vanpayar for 2 - 3 hrs.Cook it in pressure cooker for 3 whistles.Once cooked, add mathanga, salt, turmeric and chilli powder.Keep, till mathanga is cooked.Grind coconut with jeerakam finely.Add this paste into the vegetables. Keep for 5 mins.Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.Garnish the curry with the above tempering. Kerala
