Ingredients
- Pumpkin(Mathanga) - 1 piece
- Vanpayar(Red cow peas) - 1/2 glass
- Coconut - 3/4 glass
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 spoon
- Chilly powder - 2 spoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 spoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 spoon
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Oil -

Instructions
- Soak vanpayar for 2 - 3 hrs.
- Cook it in pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
- Once cooked, add mathanga, salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
- Keep, till mathanga is cooked.
- Grind coconut with jeerakam finely.
- Add this paste into the vegetables. Keep for 5 mins.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.
- Garnish the curry with the above tempering.
