- Pappadam - 6
- Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
- Small onions - 6 chopped
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Red chilli - 4
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaf - 5
- Salt - 1 tsp

Instructions
- Heat oil in a kadai add mustad seeds.When mustard splutters added red chilly stir for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add grated coconut to this and fry for some time .
- Add chilli powder to this and mix all together for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder and salt to this mix for 2 minutes.
- Fry pappadam in a usual way.
- Crush this this fried pappadams and add this to coconut mix.
- MIx well the whole thing.
- Stir for 2 minutes and switch off the gas
- Now pappada thoran is ready to serve.
