Pappaya Curry
Grated
pappaya
cooked and mixed with ground
coconut

Ingredients

Pappaya

tsp
Turmeric powder
2
cups
Coconut
grated
Mustard seeds
As reqd
Curry leaves
Few
2
nos
Whole
red chillies
Coconut oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Peal the
pappaya
and chop into small pieces.
Cook the
pappaya
pieces with
turmeric
,
salt
and enough
water
.
Remove from fire when done and mash the
pappaya
.
Grind the grated
coconut
with some
water
to make a thick gravy.
Pour the ground
coconut
into the mashed
pappaya
and cook in low heat.
Remove from fire when boiling starts.
Take a pan and pour
oil
. Heat the
oil
and splutter
mustard seeds
and add
red chillies
and
curry leaves
.
Saute and pour this into the
pappaya
curry.
Pappaya
curry, a very nutritious dish is ready.
