- Bittergourd(Pavakka) - 3 nos
- Onion - 1 no
- Coconut - 1/2 of
- Green chillies - 5 nos
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Coconut oil(! tbsp) -

Instructions
- Soak grated bitter gourd in salted water for 5 minutes and then drain off the water.
- Mix the bitter gourd, coconut, salt, green chillies, onion and salt together using your hand.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds and saute ginger.
- Add the bitter gourd mix and saute well.
- Sprinkle little water. Cover with a lid and let it cook.
- Cook till all the water has dried up.
