Easy Puttu with Banana in it

  • 1 cup Roasted Rice Flour 200 gm
  • 2 nos Ripe Banana Nenthra Pazham
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
  • Water As reqd
  • Salt As reqd


  • Add required salt to rice flour and mix well.
  • Sprinkle water on the rice flour.
  • :- Continue adding water until u get a rigid lump when u hold a handfull of the puttu powder.
  • Cut the banana into small pieces and mix it with the puttu powder.
  • First put a little coconut on the botton of the puttu kutti and then put the puttu powder(with banana) in it till half of the puttu kutti is filled.
  • Again, put the grated coconut on top of it and then puttu powder till the puttukuti is full.
  • Put the grated coconut on the top and close the lid.
  • Half fill the puttu kudam with water and heat it.
  • Put the puttukutti on the top of it when steam starts coming out from the pot.
  • Cook for 5 - 7 mins.
  • :- Serve hot.
  • :- No need of any curries with this.
