Poondu Puli Kuzhambu

Poondu puli Kuzhambu is a traditional recipe made in Tamil Nadu. It is a healthy recipe which combines the medicinal properties of garlic and awesome taste of the dried vegetables(seeni avarakkai, mango etc).   • Heat the oil and saute the garlic and chopped onion for 2 minutes
  • add chopped tomatoes and mix well
  • add sambar masala powder, kuzhambu milagai powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well
  • Add tamarind water and allow to cook for 5 mins
  • add coconut paste and mix well
  • add required water and allow to cook for 10 minutes
  • Once the gravy becomes thick consistency, temper the mustard, fenugreek seeds, cumin seed, red chili and curry leaves and transfer to the gravy
  • now poondu puli kuzhambu is ready
