Potato-Soya Chunk Fry A bachelor recipe 3 nos Potatoes (boiled & mashed)10 nos Soya chunks (meal maker)1 no Onion (finely chopped, large)1 no Tomato (chopped)3 nos Green chillies (slit)4 nos Garlic pods (mashed along with skin)10 - Curry leaves1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 tsp Mustard seedsSalt (As reqd)Oil for frying Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the chunks and peel each into 2 - 3 pieces.Heat oil in a frying pan. Splutter mustard seeds.Add chopped onions, slit green chillies, curry leaves and mashed garlic.When onion becomes glossy, add chopped tomatoes. When the tomatoes get cooked, mash them with the ladle.Add turmeric and salt and mix.Add the boiled potatoes and the soya chunks and stir fry, until everything gets fried. :- It would take 7 - 10 minutes.Remove from stove and transfer to a serving dish.Happy Cooking ;) Tamil
