Potato Stir Fry Easy

Spicy potato dish in dry masala

  • Peel, wash, dice and cook potatoes by adding little salt.
  • Drain and keep it in a bowl. :-Make sure that the potato dices are cooked well but not get mashed.
  • Marinate cooked potato dices with turmeric powder, kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and chat masala.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Saute chopped onion and green chillies till onion becomes brown.
  • Add asafoetida powder along with marinated potato dices and mix well.
  • Make sure that the potato do not get mashed.
  • Fry it in a medium flame for about 15 minutes.
  • Check salt and add more if needed.
  • Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves just before removing it from fire.
  • :-Serve hot with rice & dal or with rotis.
