Pulipachadi - Brahmin Special
Ladies finger, red chilly, grated
coconut
and other ingredients are combined together to make pachadi

Coconut
grated

Red chilly
3

Green chillies
2
tsp
White gingelly
Velutha ellu
1
piece
Jaggery
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
Urad dal
Few, Ulundu parippu
Asafoetida
A pinch, Kayam
Tamarind
Size of a gooseberry
1
tsp
Turmeric powder
2
tsp
Coconut oil
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing pulipachadi - brahmin special, soak
tamarind
in
water
and squeeze the juice.
Cut ladies finger into slices and boil it in
tamarind
water
. Add
turmeric powder
and
salt
.
Roast gingelly. Then grind the grated
coconut
with
green chillies
and roasted gingelly with sufficient quantity of
water
.
Add the ground mixture to the second step(ladies finger) and boil for few minutes.
Add
jaggery
and asafoetida.
Fry
mustard seeds
, urad dal and red chilly in
coconut oil
.
Add this fried mixture to the fourth step. Pulipachadi - brahmin special, is ready.
