Onion
chopped, small

Green chillies

Cumin seeds
Jeera
1/4
tsp
Mustard seeds
2
nos
Whole red chilly
1/4
tsp
Chilly powder
Turmeric
A pinch
Ginger
chopped
Curry leaves
Few
2
tbsp
Coconut
grated
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing raw
banana
thoran, first cut the raw
banana
into small pieces. Wash well and drain.
Add
salt
,
turmeric
and chilly powder. Add little
water
and cook. Keep aside when done.
In a wok or kadai, heat
oil
and aplutter
mustard seeds
, whole red chilly,
curry leaves
, cut onions,
green chillies
,
ginger
and then add the cooked raw
banana
and grated
coconut
. Saute well.
Banana
Thoran is ready.. enjoy.
