Instructions
  1. First remove the top and bottom layer of the papaya. Then remove a very thin layer of the green coloured skin, seeds and grate the papaya.

  2. Boil the grated papaya with water till soft. Drain the extra water and keep it aside.

  3. Heat oil in a pan.

  4. Splutter cumin seeds and saute green chillies and minced ginger. Stir till light golden colour.

  5. Add kismis and stir for few seconds.

  6. Add chili powder, salt, sugar and black salt.

  7. Add cooked papaya into it and stir for 1 minute.

  8. Lastly add the lime juice and stir until well combined.

  9. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  10. Refrigerate in a covered glass container.
  11. :-This can be used as a jam or side dish. Chill for 5 minutes before serving.
