- Rice flour - 3 cups
- Gram flour - 1 cup
- Red chilly powder - 3 tbsp
- Asafoetida powder(Kayam) - 1 tsp
- Black Sesame seeds(As reqd, Ellu) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -

- For preparing ribbon pakkoda, take rice flour, gram flour, red chilly powder, asafoetida, sesame seeds and salt in a bowl.
- Make a thick batter by adding sufficient water.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan.
- Take this batter in an instrument called POKKAVADA NAZHI (used to make the batter in a ribbon shape) and squeeze into the boiling coconut oil.
- Turn sides and fry well. Ribbon pakkoda is ready.
