Sago Vada

this is famous recipe in Mumbai. its very taste and soft and crispy . very good snack at tea time.

  • 1 cup Pearl sago
  • 2 Potato
  • 2 Green chili
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • Coriander small
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • sooji -1/4 cup, rava
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying


  • Soak pearl sago with curd 2 hours and add little salt
  • Grind green chili, ginger, coriander leaves
  • Boil potato and mash it and add sago and also add grind paste
  • Add rice and sooji(rava) and salt mix it well
  • Make ball and shape like vada keep aside
  • Heat oil and deep fry the vada and drain
  • Now its ready to serve. serve with tomato ketchup
