Ingredients
- Sausages(large, pork/chicken/beef) - 2
- Potatoes(large) - 2 nos
- Green chillies(chopped finely) - 2 -
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tbsp
- Green peas(optional) - 1 small
- Bread slices - 3 nos
- Rusk - 4 nos
- Water - 1 cup
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Lemon juice - 4 -
- Oil(to fry) -

Instructions
- Boil the potatoes and mash them well.
- Steam the sausages and mince them well in a mixer.
- Boil the peas (if you want them.. the peas are optional).
- Take a big vessel.
- Put the bread slices in them.
- Add water and mix well.
- Add the potatoes, sausages, peas, chopped green chillies, cumin seeds, salt, chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala to the bread paste and mix well.
- Once you have mixed everything well, make small balls off it and flatten them into any shape you like.
- Take the rusks and crush it into a fine powder in a mixer.
- Pour this on a flat plate.
- Heat oil on a flat pan.
- Take the flattened pieces of the cutlet, dab them well on the rusk powder on both sides (so it will be crisp when fried) and fry them.
- When one side is golden brown turn it.
- :- Serve hot with ketchup or chutney :- Can also be used as patties for sandwiches/burgers. :- Kids will love them :- I was sick of eating the sausages the same way and wanted to try out something different. My husband loved it.
