  • 500 gm Boneless chicken
  • For marination.
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger / Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Egg
  • 3 tsp Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Maida/All purpose flour
  • Oil as required for frying.
  • Salt to taste.
  • For Sauce.
  • 2 nos Onion
  • 3 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • 4 nos Dried red chilly
  • 2 tsp Chilli sauce
  • 2 tsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Dried chilly paste
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 / Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste.


  • Cut the chicken into long narrow pieces.Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients of marination and keep it for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces till it becomes crisp and golden brown. Drain well and remove from the oil.
  • Now add chopped garlic sauté till it turns a golden color.Add chopped onions, whole dried red chilly, green chilly and stir well.
  • Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce , dried red chilli paste , salt, sugar, vinegar and sauté them well.
  • Add warm water and stir to mix well . When it comes to boil, add the fried chicken pieces to this gravy.Stir well to coat all the chicken with the gravy.
  • It is ready to serve.Serve hot with fried rice, Steamed rice or noodles.
  • Preparation of red chilli paste-5-10 red chillies, remove stems, soak in hot water(1hour). Drain the water from the soaked chillies .Put into a blender and grind to a coarse paste.
