Sepan Kizhangu Dry Curry
Sepan Kizhangu(Taro) dry curry is very tasty and simple to make. Sepan Kizhangu is a root vegetable.

Taro

Red
chilli powder
Asafoetida
A pinch, Kaayam
1
pinch
Turmeric powder
6
tsp
Oil
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Wash sepan kizhangu well and cook in pressure cooker for about 3 whistles time.
Add the desired quantity of
salt
at this time itself so that the
salt
gets absorbed in.
Wash in cool
water
and peel the skin.
Slice into 1 inch pieces.
Heat
oil
in a pan or kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add
turmeric
and asafoetida.
Add sepan kizhangu and fry for 2 mins.
Add red
chilli powder
and mix well.
Add some
oil
and fry.
Roast well till it turns brown.
:- Crispy Sepan Kizhangu dry curry is ready to be served.
