  • 3 cups Raw rice
  • 2 cups Curd
  • 1 cup Beaten rice Aval/Poha
  • 2 nos Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Cashewnuts fried


  • Soak poha or aval in curd.
  • Soak raw rice in water for 5 hours.
  • Grind poha followed by raw rice into a fine paste.
  • Mix them together and add salt to it.
  • Keep it aside for 5 hours.
  • Mix together grated carrots and fried cashews.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • Pour 2 big spoons of the dosa batter. Do not spread as for normal dosas.
  • Put the carrot mix on it and close with a plate for 1 min.
  • Flip the side and cook for another 1 min.
  • :- Serve with tomato chutney.
