- Sprouted moong dal - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 no
- Tomato - 1 no
- Cumin seeds -
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder -
- Pepper powder - ½ tsp
- Sugar(A pinch) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and then fry the onion till it changes colour.
- Add tomato and fry till it becomes soft.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Mix well and then add the sprouted dal. Stir well.
- Add one cup of water and cover it with a lid and let it cook.
- When the dal is cooked and the mixture is dry, add pepper powder and sugar.
- Mix well.
- :- Serve with rice or chappathis.
