Yummy prawns cooked in a jiffy. Perfect as a starter or can be accompanied with fried rice and rotis.

  • 250 g Prawns shelled and cleaned
  • 1 no Onions finely chopped
  • 1 no Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Tomato sauce
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Refined Oil
  • For garnishing:
  • Spring Onions Few, chopped
  • Coriander leaves Few, chopped


  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion and fry until translucent.
  • Add ginger, garlic and fry until raw smell disappears.
  • Add tomato and fry until oil separates.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir fry until prawns are cooked and texture is soft.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions, coriander leaves and serve hot.
