Superfast Mutta Avial
Egg Avial
Ingredients
- 6 nos Eggs hardboiled
- 1/2 of Coconut grated
- 2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt As reqd
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- 3 - Green chillies slit
Instructions
- Grind together a few leaves of curry leaves, grated coconut, cumin seeds and turmeric powder with 1 cup of water, coarsely.
- Cut each egg into 4 quarters.
- In a pan, pour the ground coconut mixture and add curry leaves and let it boil.
- :- If needed add a cup of water.
- Adjust the salt.
- Gently slip in the egg quarters without crumbling the yolk.
- Boil, till the gravy dries up and holes appear on the koottu where it bubbled.
- Remove from fire, add the coconut oil and stir gently.
- :- Serve hot with rice.

Boil drumsticks seperately and add to this mutta avial . that tastes more good,u can also add boiled potatoes

Instaed of Turmeric Powder, you may add masala powder, which will
go well with Eggs. Morover , you may add few pods of smashed GARLIC
to enhance flavour and aroma!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!C G G
very tasty…my hubby and my kids loved it.I cooked with 10 minutes easy briyani.But i did not put the grind coconut together instead i drain the coconut.
