  • 4 nos Fish fillets cubes
  • 1 nos Onion cubes
  • 1 cup Yellow, red, green bell peppers cubes
  • 1/2 cup Canned tomato can use 2 tomatoes instead
  • 1 tbsp Sweet chilly sauce
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 5 cloves Garlic chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • Mixed veggies diced
  • 1 no Green chilly slit
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Corn flour mixed in water
  • Sesame oil As reqd
  • 1 no Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 2 nos Lettuce/cabbage big leaf


  • For preparing sweet and sour fish, marinate fish fillets in lemon juice, pepper and salt.
  • Mix it with corn flour and deep fry it in oil.
  • In a kadai, add oil and fry garlic, onion, capsicum, canned tomato/chopped tomatoes and the mixed veggies.
  • Add little salt.
  • Add sweet sauce, hot sauce and fry it.
  • Add 1 tsp corn flour mixed in water and thicken the sauce.
  • Add fish pieces and coat well.
  • In a sizzler pan, add 1 tsp butter.
  • When hot, spread lettuce on 1 side and pour the fish.
  • Serve it sizzling hot.
  • Sweet and sour fish is ready.
