Tamil Nadu Style Coconut Chutney A side dish for dosas and idlis. 1/2 cup Bengal gram(puffed) (Kadalaparippu)1 cup Grated coconut4 nos Green chillies1/2 inch Ginger1 tsp Tamarind pulpSalt (As reqd)1 tsp Oil1 tsp Mustard seedsAsafoetida (A pinch, Kayam)Curry leaves (A few) Take puffed Bengal gram and put it in a blender to grind it into a fine powder.Add grated coconut, ginger, green chillies, tamarind juice and water.Grind it to a paste and add salt. Transfer the contents into a bowl.Finally, season with mustard seeds, a pinch of asafoetida and curry leaves. :-Serve with hot idlis and dosas. Tamil
